Our summer getaway to the Canadian Rockies in July 2026 was the perfect escape and a beautiful reminder of how much joy can be packed into just a few days. The Lucys headed north to immerse ourselves in majestic landscapes, where seeing all the mountains, waterways, and lakes became the breathtaking backdrop of our days. Surrounded by dramatic alpine peaks, sweeping evergreen forests, and stunning emerald waters, every day felt a little magical. We were wonderfully cared for by an exceptional tour guide who thoughtfully made tea and snacks that were from Canada and related to our daily activities, proving that the best vacations always include kind touches and even better company.

Our adventures kept us smiling from start to finish—spending unforgettable days learning about the history of the areas and diving into engaging hands-on experiences. Whether we were gazing up at the glaciers or taking a leisurely afternoon by the water, the trip was overflowing with mountains, lakes, and moments to remember. In between it all, we talked, laughed, and created the kind of memories—and new friendships—that will stay with us long after we've left the crisp mountain air behind.
